CHANGE UR FUTURE
ABOUT EQUALITY 2000
Equality 2000 has been working with and for Disabled People since 1999 and we have experience in meeting the needs of people with various disabilities including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, mental ill health, visual and hearing impairments.
OPPORTUNITIES IN TRANSITION
This is a pilot project, which is being run by Equality 2000 in partnership with Barnardo’s, Willowbank Resource Centre, Southern Care Trust and The South West College and funded by BIG (Lottery), through the Change UR Future Programme.
OUR COMMITMENT

Over the 2 days trainees will participate in employment-based training covering a range of areas including

- Getting a Job & Preparing for Work
- Being Effective in Work
- Communication
- Appropriate Work Behaviour
- Assertiveness, Respect & Rights
- Health & Safety at Work
- Personal Hygiene & Self-Presentation
- Independent Travel Training &
- Job Club support
What happens over the other 3 days?
